  • The composite toecap is completely free of metal. The composite material does not conduct heat or cold, so the composite toecap provides extra comfort in both hot and cold surroundings.
  • The flexible nail protection of special textile increases comfort and protects against cold. In addition, the textile midsole is larger and better protects against nails and sharp objects in a wider area compared with a steel midsole.
  • The outsole of hard wearing PU is transfer resistant (non-marking). Very slip resistant sole/SRC.
  • These shoes are completely free of metal - a crucial advantage at airports.
  • Composite toe cap and TPU-reinforced scuff cap ensure the necessary protection and make the shoes extra durable.
  • Very durable, slip-resistant PU outer sole that’s heat-resistant up to 140°C.

Heel cap. ESD approved to EN IEC 61340-4-3: 2002 + EN IEC 61340-5-1: 2008. Light moulded scuff cap. Absorbs and removes moisture. Metal free. Stabilising multi-functional shank with integrated absorbing cushioning. Non-marking sole – no scuff marks. Moulded TPU toe reinforcement. Profile depth 2.5mm. Sole is oil and petrol resistant. Remarks

MASCOT's insoles with arch support (FT090, FT091, FT092) are certified for this shoe.

The DGUV Regel 112-191 refers to foot and knee protection. More concretely, it means that each orthopaedic shoe modification or usage of an insole must be confirmed by an independent testing institute to ensure that the safety shoe still conforms to the requirements of its safety class (e.g. S3 or S1P). Therefore, orthopaedic modifications on MASCOT shoes can only be performed by the company Mander-Malms Schuhtechnik GmbH. EN ISO 20345: 2011 is a European standard for safety footwear that ensures that safety shoes, boots and sandals conform to the necessary requirements of working in areas where safety is a high priority. All safety footwear from MASCOT® FOOTWEAR is certified in accordance with EN ISO 20345: 2011. ESD-approved protective safety footwear protects products handled by the wearer from static electricity. In some sectors, it is a requirement that certain areas are ESD secured in order to protect electrical components and equipment. All safety footwear from MASCOT® FOOTWEAR is certified in accordance with EN ISO 20345: 2022. Water-repellent and breathable safety footwear with protective toe cap, antistatic soles and a closed heel area. Footwear in this safety class have flexible textile nail protection which provides guaranteed protection against nails and sharp objects down to a diameter of 3 mm. The textile nail protection is moisture wicking and provides good protection against the cold and heat. The outsole compound has an outsole with cleats to ensure a stable footing on all surfaces.
