It does not include specific requirements for head wear, footwear and gloves intended to prevent local cooling. When there's a job that needs to be done whatever the weather, it's important to be properly dressed. EN 343 is used to add different values to clothing that protects against the rain. Next to the symbol are three values. The first number indicates the water tightness, and the second number refers to the breathability of the overall product. Both values are divided into classes from 1-4, with 4 indicating the highest class. The lowest value is an optional test of the finished product to test the impact of rainfall from above.
