  • The outsole of hard wearing PU is transfer resistant (non-marking). Very slip resistant sole/SRC.
  • These shoes are completely free of metal with a textile nail protection that makes them suitable, for example, for work at airports, and avoids the risk of thermal bridges.

Heel cap. ESD approved to EN IEC 61340-4-3: 2002 + EN IEC 61340-5-1: 2008. Light moulded scuff cap. Absorbs and removes moisture. Fastening with hook and loop band. Metal free. Stabilising multi-functional shank with integrated absorbing cushioning. Non-marking sole – no scuff marks. Profile depth 2.5mm. Sole is oil and petrol resistant. Heat resistant sole up to 140°C. Nail protection of special textile material. Ladder grip. Shock-absorbing insoles are removable, durable and ergonomic. Composite toe cap. Textile breathable lining. Two-component sole of PU/PU.
Remarks

MASCOT's insoles with arch support (FT090, FT091, FT092) are certified for this shoe.

The DGUV Regel 112-191 refers to foot and knee protection. More concretely, it means that each orthopaedic shoe modification or usage of an insole must be confirmed by an independent testing institute to ensure that the safety shoe still conforms to the requirements of its safety class (e.g. S3 or S1P). Therefore, orthopaedic modifications on MASCOT shoes can only be performed by the company Mander-Malms Schuhtechnik GmbH. EN ISO 20345: 2011 is a European standard for safety footwear that ensures that safety shoes, boots and sandals conform to the necessary requirements of working in areas where safety is a high priority. All safety footwear from MASCOT® FOOTWEAR is certified in accordance with EN ISO 20345: 2011. ESD-approved protective safety footwear protects products handled by the wearer from static electricity. In some sectors, it is a requirement that certain areas are ESD secured in order to protect electrical components and equipment. Shoes and boots with midsole and toe cap. Not water resistant. Excellent traction with ultra slip resistant soles. Approved by both SRA (tested with soap on ceramics) and SRB (tested with glycerol on steel), which automatically achieves the best standard for slip-resistant soles, SRC.
